Carter Chiropractic & Acupuncture Presents Back School

You are central to your pain alleviation with Peoria chiropractic care.

The central theme of Back School is that we control back pain, not necessarily cure it. Recognition of the fact that, you have a transitional segment that puts your spine at risk for instability and limits the stress it can take, goes a long way in gaining confidence knowing that you can control its pain and regain your quality of life again. Carter Chiropractic & Acupuncture puts high priority on improving your quality of life.

Back School helps you and those close to you understand your spinal pain condition(s) and what it takes to manage your pain. Watching a loved one go through pain makes us feel helpless. Finding out what is wrong and what can be done in office at Carter Chiropractic & Acupuncture as well as at home which provides everyone an opportunity to help.

Back School discusses spine pain conditions, relates that spine pain is not a solitary experience, gives examples for proper movements for daily living, and gets all of us on the same page to assist the back pain sufferer.

The Carter Chiropractic & Acupuncture presentation of Back School emphasizes that back pain control, not cure is often the goal. It's a realistic goal for our Peoria chiropractic patients and their families and loved ones.

Interestingly 95% of 61 patients who attended a back school thought it was worth their time to attend. They felt they grasped their condition more fully and learned something to avoid re-injury. (1)
